Our SIA Door Supervisor courses are structured into four components:

Unit 2: Principles of Door Supervision in the Private Security Industry

Unit 3: Conflict Management Application in the Private Security Industry

To enroll in the course, all participants must be 18 years of age or older.
As per SIA regulations, training centres are obligated to verify that each learner possesses adequate qualifications in First Aid or Emergency First Aid. Therefore, prospective candidates must demonstrate possession of a current and valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate that meets the standards outlined in the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
The First Aid or Emergency First Aid certification must remain valid for a minimum of 12 months from the course commencement date.
Prior to commencing the SIA Door Supervisor training, you are required to furnish Heart & Soul Community Training with your valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate.
In the event that you do not possess a valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate, we can provide you with an Emergency First Aid Training Course.
To successfully complete the SIA Door Supervisor course, you will need to undertake four electronic assessments consisting of multiple-choice questions.
For Unit 1 – Principles of working in the private security industry, you will need to respond to 72 multiple-choice questions within a time frame of 1 hour and 50 minutes. The passing score is set at 51 questions.
For Unit 2 – Principles of working as a door supervisor in the private security industry, you will need to answer 50 multiple-choice questions within 1 hour and 15 minutes. A minimum of 35 questions must be answered correctly to pass.
For Unit 3 – Application of conflict management in the private security industry, you will encounter 20 multiple-choice questions to be completed within 30 minutes. A passing score requires correctly answering at least 14 questions.
For Unit 4 – Application of physical intervention skills in the private security industry, you will be presented with 30 multiple-choice questions to be addressed within 45 minutes. To pass this unit, you need to correctly answer a minimum of 24 questions.
Our policy ensures that there is no fee for retaking the exam if you do not pass on your initial attempt – a principle we refer to as “NO PASS – NO RETAKE FEE.” You are entitled to two retakes without any additional charge. With a pass rate exceeding 95%, you can trust in our commitment to your success.
Exam results will be made available on the same day.
