About the Course

This Level 2 Award qualification has been designed specifically for those individuals who are required to have a basic knowledge of health and safety practices that are essential in the workplace. It is also ideal for those entering the workplace for the first time or looking to progress in an organisation.

Course Curriculum

• Legislation pertaining to workplace health, safety, and welfare

• Health regulations and guidelines for maintaining a safe working environment

• Safety protocols and procedures to mitigate workplace hazards

• Ensuring the welfare of employees through appropriate measures

• Understanding the workplace environment and the use of workplace equipment

• Conducting risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures

• Techniques for safe manual handling to prevent injuries

• Handling and managing hazardous substances in accordance with safety protocols

• Implementing ergonomic principles and workstation design for optimal safety and comfort

• Ensuring safety standards in transport and vehicles used in the workplace

• Managing and mitigating the effects of noise and vibration on employee health and safety.

All learners must be 16 + years of age.

This qualification is evaluated through a comprehensive multiple-choice examination process.

Our policy ensures that there is no fee for retaking the exam if you do not pass on your initial attempt – a principle we refer to as “NO PASS – NO RETAKE FEE.” You are entitled to two retakes without any additional charge. With a pass rate exceeding 95%, you can trust in our commitment to your success.

Exam results will be made available on  the same day.
