About the Course

The Food Safety Level 2 qualification is the accepted minimum standard for those who work in the retail industries. Food handlers working in a food retail environment. The training of food handlers is a legal requirement, and the key to profitability and high standards of food safety is to ensure their competency.

Course Curriculum

Topics include:
• The importance of food safety procedures and complying with the law
microbiological, chemical, physical and allergenic hazards and their control
good temperature control and stock rotation.
• The importance of good personal hygiene and preventing contamination,
including hand washing, protective clothing, cuts and reporting illness.
• Keeping work areas and equipment clean and safe.
• Safe waste disposal
• Pest control

All learners must be 16 + years of age.

This qualification is evaluated through a comprehensive multiple-choice examination process.

Our policy ensures that there is no fee for retaking the exam if you do not pass on your initial attempt – a principle we refer to as “NO PASS – NO RETAKE FEE.” You are entitled to two retakes without any additional charge. With a pass rate exceeding 95%, you can trust in our commitment to your success.
